Fudgy Hummus Brownies
Ingredients
- ½ cup Zacca Traditional Hummus
- 1 egg (for vegan use flax egg or egg replacer)
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- ½ cup almond butter
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips of choice (we used Lily’s Dark Chocolate Chips)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Prepare an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the chocolate chips. Stir to combine.
- Gently stir in chocolate chips
- Pour brownie batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 23-26 minutes until cooked through. Allow the brownies to cool at least one hour before cutting. You can stick them in the fridge or freezer if needed. Enjoy!
