Harissa + Herb Loaded Hummus

Ingredients

  • Zacca Traditional Hummus
  • ¼ cup chopped green onion
  • 1 tbsp harissa
  • 1 tbsp minced mint
  • 1 tbsp minced basil
  • 3 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • Warmed naan, to serve

 Directions

  1. Spoon the hummus into a shallow bowl.
  2. Add the green onion, harissa, mint, and basil to another bowl.
  3. Heat the oil in a small skillet over medium heat until it's hot enough to bubble around a wooden spoon when placed in the oil. Pour the hot oil into the bowl with the green onion and harissa and mix to combine and “cook” the herbs.
  4. Pour the oil mixture on top of the hummus.
  5. Top with pomegranate and pumpkin seeds and serve with warmed naan.
