Ingredients

  • 8 oz shishito peppers

  • 1 shallot, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tub of Zacca Hummus

  • Sea salt to taste

  • Sumac (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Blister the peppers and shallots: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shishito peppers and sliced shallots. Cook, tossing occasionally, until charred and blistered (about 5-7 minutes). Sprinkle with sea salt.

  2. Prepare the hummus base: Spread Zacca Hummus on a serving plate and make a little well in the center.

  3. Combine: Arrange the blistered peppers and shallots on top of the hummus. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with a sprinkle of sumac for extra flavor.

  4. Serve: Enjoy with pita bread, crackers, or fresh veggies!
