A protein-packed, globally-inspired meal that's surprisingly easy to prepare and guaranteed to spice up your dinner routine.

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken legs
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 2 tsp allspice & paprika
  • 1 tsp cinnamon, ginger, ground cloves, cayenne pepper, garlic powder & onion powder
  • 2 tsp salt *alternatively you can use Walker's Wood premade Jamaican jerk seasoning and follow the steps below

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients except chicken to form a spice rub/paste mixture
  2. Use paper towels to thoroughly dry chicken legs of excess moisture. Use fork to poke holes on all sides of chicken legs. Evenly spread the rub mixture underneath the skin of chicken legs – use clean hands to really push the mixture as far underneath skin as you can – as well as on top of skin
  3. Place chicken in air fryer at 380 degrees for between 12-20 minutes depending on the thickness of the chicken legs
  4. Serve immediately with Zacca hummus and other side of choice
